Being born and raised on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, E-Moxie jumped at the chance to work with local waterman and successful restaurant Conrad’s Crabs. This 4-month long project kicked off with a learning session where E-Moxie had Conrad’s explain what was working and what was NOT working on their current site. Together they brainstormed ideas and came up with a solid approach to how they were going to tackle this project.
The challenge with this website was not seamlessly combining the restaurant and seafood market into one cohesive brand, or handling multiple locations with varying menu items, or even clearly defining the difference between online gift cards and in-house gift cards, the challenge was how to effectively ship live crabs and perishable food items anywhere in the country.
